Analytics HD/ Analytix HD

Price: Apple- $6.99, Android- $1.99
The former for the iPad and the latter for Android systems; both allow you to monitor your Google Analytics data for your website remotely. Both display an abundance of reports generated from your site, including presenting such info in full-screen charts. Although both are similar, Analytics HD gives you access to approximately twice the number of reports as the Android version.

Base lets you save all of your customer interactions in one place, followed by automatically organizing related deals, emails, calls, tasks, notes, etc., all in a universal contact card. You are able to instantly update where you stand on each deal on your tablet. You can also create and appoint tasks to monitor your progress with each prospect.
Tracking allows you to visually see where your strengths and weaknesses are in your workflow. For no monthly fee, users can create up to150 deals in a given month. Starting at $15/month, there is no monthly limit of deals that can be tracked at one time.
Boat Cloud

BoatCloud Mobile allows your marina customers to make reservations from their mobile device 24 hours a day. Customers are also able to add in concierge requests, like if they want beer and ice on the boat when they arrive. With the BoatCloud software at the marina, operators are given the reservation details and are updated as boat tasks have been completed by their staff.

Concur’s Easy Money Expense Manager is a great app for when you have to monitor expenses on the road, especially for expense purposes. Transaction input can happen quickly by photographing receipts or choosing from its vast receipt store, eliminating the need for storage. The approval of expense reports can also be done electronically.
HootSuite for Twitter & Facebook

Price: Free
HooteSuite is the most well known of the social media management apps available on your tablet. Its main advantage is the ability to update all social media from one program, as well as the ability to access that program on the go. For the free membership, users can update up to five social media profiles, schedule future posts and see quick reports. For $9.99 per month, you get more features and can manage as many social media profiles as you would like.
Quickbooks Online for iPad

Price: $12.99/month
The Quickbooks app allows owners to easily manage customers, invoices, estimates and expenses from anywhere with their iPad. Users can create invoices and estimates for customers on the spot with their tablet, capture electronic signatures to approve estimates, track all overdue balances on the activity feed, set a timeline for customer interactions, gain insight into the company’s financials and much more.
LinkedIn

Price: Free
The professional networking site LinkedIn is the perfect way to stay in touch with associates while traveling. In fact, many use the website over business cards – if you meet someone at a trade show, you can add them instantly to your network with the app, making the immediate connection.
You are also able to stay in touch with people at other companies, enabling you to possibly recruit a new employee without being tethered to a computer.
Meeting Mapper

Using a user-friendly interface, Meeting Mapper allows you to literally map your meetings by identifying the information you need to ensure its success, including documenting the role and opinion of each participant and identifying any action items or next steps, which it will automatically schedule.
PrintCentral
Operating System: iOS
Price: $8.99
PrintCentral allows you to print from your iPad using a Wi-Fior Bluetooth-enabled printer. Users are able to print out emails, as well as any documents from other apps. According to reviews, it is the superior option to PrinterOn.
PrinterOn
Operating System: Android, iOS
Price: $9.95/year
The app is usable on Android tablets and free, but there is an annual fee to make your home printer accessible to your tablet. Users will also gain access to PrinterOn’s network of print locations, which include hotels, libraries, airports, etc. You can search for these locations using GPS.
RightSignature
Operating System: iOS
Price: $49/month ($39/month if you sign up for the annual plan)
RightSignature allows you to upload a PDF or Microsoft Word file, specify recipients and then send the form to a client via email. Once the client receives the form, he or she can sign the document using their mouse or finger directly on the tablet. The signature is legally binding, as is the case with all signature apps.
Once you receive the signed document, it is placed in your own online archive, which is secure and tamper-proof. The status of each form is also tracked in this archive.

CamCard is a business card scanner that requires the user to take a picture of the business card, the information on which is then uploaded into an address book on your tablet.
Chaparral iPad app

Developed by Jester Communications, the app made specifically for Chaparral allows dealers to showcase the model lineup, including photo and video galleries, dealer locator, product information and boat configurator.
GoToMeeting
Operating System: Android, iOS
Price: Free
GoToMeeting allows users to easily launch or join in with a meeting remotely. While in the meeting, you are able to present presentations or reports to all remote attendees.
Keynote
Operating System: iOS
Price: $9.99
The presentation app was designed specifically for the iPad. Keynote allows you to completely build presentations using only your tablet by infusing your presentation with visually appealing graphs and animations. You can even edit presentations originally created in PowerPoint. You are able to present the slideshow full screen directly on your iPad as well.
MasterCraft iPad app

Developed by Jester Communications, the app is still in the process of development, but currently Mastercraft dealers are able to utilize photo and video galleries to showcase models.

Ship’s Log by Mercury Marine

Price: Free
The app is a great resource for boaters, who are able to capture and share operational boat data while creating a lasting record of their boating experiences. Boating data includes vessel and engine details, captain and crew information, location, current, weather and more.
Square
Operating System: Android, iOS
Price: Free, 2.75 percent fee per transaction or $275 per month
Square turns your mobile device into a device for credit card transactions. Once you sign up, Square will send you the free credit card reader, which attaches to your tablet. From there, swipe your customer’s card and have them sign with their finger right on the tablet. Customers then receive their receipt (which you can customize for your business) digitally or you can connect a printer.
Next-day deposits go directly to your bank account. HOWEVER, Square holds any funds for 30 days after more than $2,002 in transactions were completed without a credit card within a seven-day period.
vTie Premium

vTie offers step-by-step instructions for 16 different tie knots. When out on the road, its hands-free tutorial for each knot requires no Internet connection and the speed of each step can be adjusted.
YachtCloser
Operating System: Android, iOS
Price: $49/month for one user at 1 location (Increases dependent on users).
To minimize the creation and faxing of contracts by yacht brokers during transactions, YachtCloser allows brokers to construct, sign and send contracts online to potential buyers. Once brokers upload inventory information and necessary contact information, subsequent contracts are created with little change being necessary. Also, all sales are documented online where historical sales totals can also be tabulated.

The Battery Doctor Pro and JuiceDefender were designed for Apple and Android products, respectively. They are both very valuable and proven to add hours to your tablet or phone battery on either operating system.
Dragon Dictation

Dragon Dictation is a voice-recognition application that allows you to speak, rather than write-out, text messages, emails or notes to yourself. The dictation software also allows your to speak postings on Facebook or Twitter, rather than fumble with the keyboard.
DropBox

The Dropbox mobile app syncs with your Dropbox account to make any file accessible from your mobile device. You are also able to upload any pictures and video captured by your phone to your Dropbox account, which allows you to share the files with your coworkers instantly.
Evernote

The app allows you to compile notes, pictures, audio, travel itineraries and more into one place and makes all accessible from any device. It also seamlessly syncs voice recordings, pictures and video. Also, all notes taken are completely searchable and can be shared with coworkers or even social media followers.

Price: Free, with five gigabytes of free storage
Google Drive allows you to upload all your documents (from various computers or mobile devices) on to one place. The cloud storage then allows you to access those same files from whichever device you are using, including your tablet. By pairing the ability to access these files with an app like Polaris Office, you can also edit a document on the road.

Note Taker HD has replaced the notebook for many iPad users. It allows you to write notes, to-do lists and even make sketches of designs or mock-ups. It even allows you to view a PDF, which you are able to make notes on or even sign if it is a contract. All notes can sync with your desktop through iTunes or be emailed to a colleague. Purchase a stylus to make note taking on it even easier.
OfficeTime

OfficeTime provides an intuitive way to track the time you spend on tasks and expenses while at the office or on the road on both your iPhone and iPad. Syncing with your Mac or PC, the app allows you to get cross team reports, track by project and category, run multiple timers, export to Numbers or Excel and much more.
Polaris Office

Price: 12.99
Polaris is one of the few apps that lets you open, edit and save word documents, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. Even better, these files can be accessed using cloud-based services like Dropbox or Google Drive. On the road, you can open up a presentation saved in Google Docs or Dropbox with your iPad, make edits and then save it back to the cloud-based storage provider.
Quickoffice Pro

Much like Polaris for Apple systems, Quickoffice allows you to open and edit all Microsoft Office word documents, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations and can be loaded onto an Android operating system. It also allows users to annotate PDF files online and offline. You are also able to use it in conjunction with cloud-based services like DropBox.

Created by Angler Action, this app allows your customer to record and review each catch of a fishing trip, allowing users to input data like the size of a catch, a picture of it and record where it was made. Furthermore, each catch recorded by fishers builds valuable information for recreational fisheries to better understand fish populations.
Boatersbook

Closely replicating its parent website, the app allows mobile users to search for marine businesses nearby, as well as what products and services those businesses sell. Currently, it has data records for 25,000 U.S. marine retail businesses and 6,000 trade/OEM companies.
BoatTrader for iPad

The new Boat Trader iPad application puts more than 100,000 new and used boats, yachts, sailboats and personal watercraft at users’ fingertips. Buyers can find a dealer or search for boats by type, price range, model year and length by location and view multiple boat and dealer locations on enhanced maps and quickly access driving directions.
BoatU.S. App

This app allows you to stay connected to BoatU.S.’s network of on-water and on-road towing service providers 24/7. By using the app with your smartphone, BoatU.S. dispatchers are able to automatically know your location when requesting assistance. Also, you are able to see your latitude and longitude and share that information with others using email, text or social media.
Sea Tow

The Sea Tow app is a great tool for your customers, with its ability to neatly display tide and weather forecasts, bearings, as well as offers a direct connection to Sea Tow’s 24-hour dispatch center.
YachtWorld iPad app
Operating System: iOS
Price: Free
The app allows you to access the more than 120,000 yacht listings on YachtWorld.com. You can search, browse and contact brokers, as well as save your searches and create a Favorites lists. Users are also able to easily compare models on the tablet.
Outboards by Yamaha

The Yamaha app is a resource for its customers, who are able to access warranty and maintenance information for their outboard and if the outboard is new they can track progress on the break-in procedure.
