So what makes a Top 100 dealer?
In many ways the dealers are drastically different. There are sailboat dealers, powerboat dealers, yacht dealers, fishing boat dealers, etc. Some have marinas, some have restaurants. Many offer storage, many do not. Others specialize in service, while others rely on boats as their No. 1 source of revenue. Their size varies greatly.
What they all have in common is best practices. These dealers continue to embrace change and adapt to our ever-shifting industry. They value increasing the professionalism of the entire industry. There’s little doubt that becoming a Top 100 dealer is not an easy process. The application process is rigorous and intentionally so.
Simply put, they are the best of the best, from our Dealer of the Year, Gordy’s Lakefront Marine, to the entire list of 100 dealers.
