MarineMax launches new vacation charter company

CLEARWATER, Fla. – MarineMax Inc. is expanding its range of offerings with the addition of MarineMax Vacations, a sail and power yacht vacation chartering company, to be based in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, with more charter locations will be added over time.

Raul Bermudez, who has over a decade of experience with the charter industry, will be the vice president for MarineMax Vacations.

“We are fortunate to have Raul Bermudez, vice president, MarineMax Vacations, who brings over 10 years of charter industry experience to lead our efforts, helping to ensure that our vacation charters are a premium, hassle-free experience,” said William H. McGill Jr., chairman, president and CEO of MarineMax.

MarineMax Vacations will be partnering with Dufour Yachts for its luxury sailboats and will develop custom power boats for future vacation charters.
