FYBA names executive director

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Florida Yacht Brokers Association named Ann Vernon as its new Executive Director.
“I am excited about the challenges ahead of me on this side of the Atlantic!” said Ann Vernon in a press release. “They include bringing interesting, pertinent seminars to FYBA members and expanding membership; but most of all is listening to what members need and want from their association.”
Ann Vernon has served as the executive director for the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association for six years. Prior to joining the FYBA, she was working as a private investment analyst in Nice, France, and handled sales development for a provisioning company in the south of France.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Ann as the new executive director of the FYBA, “said Cromwell Littlejohn, FYBA president, in a press release. “Her understanding of the yachting industry, including six years as executive director of MYBA, will prove extremely valuable as we look to grow the membership while continuing to increase member benefits and services, as well as our legislative initiatives such as the tax cap passed last year.”
