ICOMIA announces 2010 statistics book is now available

EGHAM, U.K. – The International Council of Marine Industry Associations announced that its 2010 statistics book is now for sale on the company’s website. The statistics book represents information from 23 major marine leisure markets around the world, accounting for over 90 percent of the global business in the sector, according to ICOMIA.
“I am proud to say that the ICOMIA statistics book is the only reliable source of global boating statistics available on the market today,” said ICOMIA Secretary General Tony Rice in a release. “It offers a unique insight into the worldwide recreational boating industry, which can be priceless.”
Statistics in the book are based on information from 2010, including national reports from 23 countries, trade data from 35 countries, engine sales statistics and super yacht statistics from Show Boats International/Boat International Media.
The 2010 ICOMIA Statistics Book is available via electronic copy on the ICOMIA website and is 50 percent off for ICOMIA members.
