J&D Acquisitions expands agreement with Chinese company

HOPKINS, Minn. – J&D Acquisitions has expanded its joint venture agreement with the Chinese company Poly Technologies Inc. to include Carver Yachts, Larson, Striper and Triumph Boats.

Irwin Jacobs, chairman of J&D Acquisitions, said in a statement that the manufacturer will have a comprehensive lineup of models available at the Serenity Marina and Yacht Club in China for sea trials by dealers and customers.

“I’m extremely pleased that we are now able to include all J&D boat brands into our recently announced JV agreement with the prestigious Poly Technologies Inc. company of China,” Jacobs said. “Similar to the recent Poly Marquis Yacht Co. (Poly Marquis) JV, the additional boat brands of Carver Yachts, Larson, Striper, and Triumph will be on display at our new distribution center and offices at the beautiful Serenity Marina and Yacht Club in Sanya, China.”

Poly Chairman Jiang Lianxiang said everyone at Poly is pleased that the new joint venture will allow the company to offer multiple types and sizes of yachts and boats.

“We believe the future for all sizes and types of recreational boats and yachts in China is extremely strong and China will become a retail leader in the world for yachts and boats. Poly feels very confident that our new JV Yacht and Boating Agreement with J&D is going to become very successful,” Jiang added.
