Yacht Brokerage University welcomes 192 to Florida

NORFOLK, Va. – The most recent Yacht Brokerage University, held Jan. 24 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., hosted 192 brokers for presentations that provided insight into marketing in the digital age across multiple technology platforms.
The event included live demonstrations of YachtWorld.com’s iPad app and BoatWizard iPhone app, as well as information about how to engage consumers using the latest digital technology.
Presentations and moderated panels included a “State of the Industry” from Ian Watkins, vice president and general manager of Dominion Marine Media, and Tim Claxton, director of group product develop for Dominion Marine Media; “BoatWizard” hosted by Joe Lingerfelt, director of product support for Dominion Marine Media; “Selling to Generations” by Shane Pierce, senior director of leadership development for Dominion Enterprises; “Marketing in the Digital Age” presented by Kim Rocco, consumer marketing manager for Dominion Marine media; as well as a best practices panel and an industry experts panel.
