West Marine announced today the grand opening celebration of its newest location in Seabrook, New Hampshire from Friday, July 20th through Sunday, July 22nd. The brand new store will be located at 337 Lafayette Road in Seabrook with grand opening events taking place 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday and 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Responding to the needs of Seacoast boaters, this West Marine store will be 13,000 square feet, with an expansive selection of marine electronics to touch and test, inflatable boats, kayaks and outboard motors, with a full engine parts counter staffed by specialists. Plus, there’s a huge selection of sailing gear, boating supplies, casual and technical apparel, shoes, sunglasses and accessories, all designed for your life on the water.
Store Manager Mark McDevitt has been with West Marine for over six years and enjoys freshwater fishing and surfcasting off the coasts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. “The new Seabrook West Marine is staffed with passionate boaters, anglers and sailors,” says Mark McDevitt. “Our goal is to help every customer really enjoy their boat, whether they area going to Jeffreys Ledge, the Isles of Shoals or Lake Winnipesaukee,” McDevitt adds.

The brand new store will be located at 3622 First Street West in Bradenton (at the corner of Highway 301 & Highway 41) with grand opening events taking place 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday and 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Responding to the needs of area boaters and anglers, this West Marine store will be over 13,000 square feet featuring boating, fishing and sailing gear selected specifically for area Customers. In fact, the Bradenton West Marine will be one of the best equipped stores in the region for fishing gear (especially for saltwater), with an extensive selection of marine electronics to touch and test. Kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, inflatable boats and outboard motors accompany a full engine parts counter staffed by specialists. An increased selection of boating supplies, casual and technical apparel, shoes, sunglasses and accessories will be on deck, all designed for your life on the water.
Store Manager Scott Baker has been with West Marine for 10 years. A lifelong boater and recent inshore fisherman, he loves to spend his free time in Tampa Bay. “All of the Associates at the Bradenton West Marine are passionate about boating, fishing and cruising,” says Baker. “We have a top-level crew with a vast amount of marine experience ready to help folks enjoy the waters from the Manatee River to Tampa Bay to the Gulf of Mexico,” Baker adds.
There will be 25 associates at the new West Marine who have over 465 years of combined experience and together have cruised over 31,000 nautical miles. Operations Manager John Waller is a power boater with over 27 years on the water and Sales Manager Jim Withers has been boating for over 30 years and enjoys cruising and saltwater fishing.
