Bob Dayhoff joins the PowerCat Group as Regional Sales Manager for the Southeastern U.S.

(Tarboro, NC) Industry veteran Bob Dayhoff has joined the PowerCat Group of Tarboro, North Carolina as regional sales manager for the southeast region including Georgia, North and South Carolina, Virginia and Maryland. Dayhoff will represent all four PowerCat Group catamaran lines: World Cat, Glacier Bay, Livingston and Carolina Cat.
Dayhoff is president and owner of Blue Water Marketing of Mt. Pleasant, SC, a marine marketing and representative firm representing several boat manufacturers in the Southeastern United States and Bahamas. Dayhoff brings over 30 years experience in the marine industry and at one time represented Glacier Bay Boats prior to its merger into the PowerCat Group.
“Bob’s experience and professionalism will be an immense help as we continue to grow and build our four catamaran brands’ distribution in his important territory,” stated Andy Brown, president of the PowerCat Group. “Bob is an institution in the Southeast and his knowledge of the market and catamaran marketing will be fundamental to our strategy of dominating our catamaran sector,” he added.
The PowerCat Group builds four brands of catamaran products in Tarboro, North Carolina. The company acquired World Cat Catamarans in 2002 and added Glacier Bay and Livingston catamarans in 2008. The company founded the Carolina Cat brand of 18 to 23-foot catamarans in 2010.
