Seattle, WA - (August 8, 2012)– YachtWorld, the world’s largest Internet yacht brokerage portal and a division of Dominion Marine Media, today announced the agenda for its Gulf Coast and Great Lakes Yacht Brokerage University (YBU) sessions. The 2012 agenda includes live demonstrations of new technologies and multiple open discussions among brokers, allowing them to share best practices and discuss current industry events.
“Tips about BoatWizard are always in high demand at the YBUs, and we see that brokers also enjoy networking and sharing ideas at the event,” said Courtney Chalmers, director of marketing for Dominion Marine Media. “The lunch presentation is especially timely because it focuses on selling techniques required for different age groups and diverse audiences.”
Other new agenda items include a presentation on social media showing brokers how to use Pinterest to grow their businesses, and a presentation about BoatWizard on mobile and beyond. In addition, there will be two break-out sessions.
The Gulf Coast YBU, hosted by YachtWorld and the Yacht Brokers Association of America, will be held in Seabrook, TX on Thursday, August 9 at the Lakewood Yacht Club, and the Great Lakes YBU in Port Credit, Ontario on Thursday, August 16 at the Port Credit Yacht Club.
Each full-day session will feature a variety of technology, marketing and sales presentations, as well as discussion forums, networking, and topics of local value to yacht brokers and industry leaders. Breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks are included.
