Elkhart, IN, August 17, 2012 — Nautic Global Group has added industry veteran Barry Bailey as sales manager for the Asia Pacific Region.
“We are seeing an incredible opportunity to grow international sales, particularly in Asia and the Pacific Rim,” said Doug Sexton, Nautic Global Group Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “With Barry’s extensive experience and numerous contacts in the area, we expect to bring on more dealers and expand our exports across all brand lines.”
Bailey, who is based out of Southport, Queensland, near Brisbane, Australia, has worked in the marine industry for nearly 30 years in a number of similar roles for various boat builders as well as the International Trade Association. He is a licensed captain who has successfully circumnavigated the world twice aboard traditional wooden sailing vessels.
