Press Release

Nashville, Georgia – September 13, 2012…Chaparral Boats continued its industry-leading streak as the company was recently awarded its fifth consecutive National Marine Manufacturer’s Association (NMMA) Customer Satisfaction Index Award. What makes the accomplishment even more remarkable is Chaparral once again was recognized in every category of boats it builds including Deck Boats, Sterndrive Bowrider boats and Sterndrive Cuddy and Express Boats.

“Chaparral has long been known for it’s new product innovation,” said company President Jim Lane, “but we place equal importance on Customer Satisfaction. The five year streak and the fact that every year we’ve been recognized in all categories of boats we build, verifies our dedication and consistent focus on Customer Service.”

“Our company measures the customer experience before, during, and after the sale of our products with the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) process.  Working together with our great dealer network we use this data to continuously improve our products and services,  said Chaparral CSI Coordinator Donna Giddens. “We want every aspect of the Chaparral boat buying experience to be first rate.”

The Marine Industry CSI Awards program honors boat manufacturers that actively measure customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement to better serve the boat buying public. Award winners must achieve and maintain a customer satisfaction index of 90 percent or higher during a one year period.  More than 32,000 consumers were surveyed for this year’s program.

I own a 2003 Signature 350. Love the boat! Have some Hurricane Sandy issues. I know where/how to order a new swim platform. Where/how do I find out the average labor time for removal & application of new platform? Is it a big deal to attach, e.g. having to go into te engine compartment,,etc.

    Thanks
