Marina conference is 80% sold out, reports a 20% increase in sales
Warren, RI—Exhibit hall booth space at the International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC), January 30–February 1, 2013, is 80% sold out—a significant increase over previous years at this point in the sales schedule. The conference, being held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Florida, features an exhibit hall hosting over 125 companies that support and supply the marina and boatyard industry.
“We’re ahead in booth sales, about a 20% increase over where we were last year at this time,” Jim Frye, CMM, president of the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), which produces the conference, says. “It means our exhibitors recognize that IMBC’s exhibit hall and seminar series attract real decision-makers in the marina industry, but more significantly, this is a great sign for the industry as a whole.”
This year’s IMBC will feature an extended seminar series with professional speakers as well as experts within the marine industry, and will include hands-on workshops and breakout sessions sorted into specific coastal, inland, and boatyard and service tracks. Also this year, IMBC staff will host an Oktoberfest-style beer tasting in the exhibit hall as well as a marina field trip to local marinas and boatyards in southern Florida.
Exhibit booths start at $2,100 and include a 10 x 10 space, two full conference registrations, company profile on IMBC’s website, company name, phone number, web address, and product categories in the conference program, the conference attendee listing, and recognition in IMBC marketing materials. To reserve booth space, visit IMBC’s website to download IMBC’s Supplier Prospectus, which includes booth contracts, a floor plan, and sponsorship and advertising opportunities, or contact Ray Clark, IMBC Sales Director, at (401) 247- 4922 or email@example.com.
