The Association of Marine Technicians (AMTECH) announces that the 20th annual National Maine Service Expo will be held on January 18-21, 2013 in Ormond Beach, FL. Training will be held on the WyoTech Campus. In addition to the existing classes offered at the NMSE involving outboard and sterndrive/inboard systems, two new classes are being added. Outboard Rigging and Installation, and the Principles of Troubleshooting are new for NMSE ’13. Rigging and Installation will be a required course for a technician to obtain their Outboard Specialization status, and Principles of Troubleshooting will be a prerequisite for both the Outboard and Inboard Specialist categories. The Specialist program recognizes technicians who have successfully met the standards of AMTECH training.
