IMBC will return to Fort Lauderdale

Marina conference to be held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center

Warren, RI—The next International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC) will be held January 29–31, 2014, at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. IMBC is the leading marina and boatyard conference and is produced by the Association of Marina Industries (AMI).

“Fort Lauderdale works well for IMBC and is a desirable location for our attendees and exhibitors,” AMI Chair Gary Groenewold, CMM, says. “We’re pleased to return our largest annual event to south Florida, which is easy to get to and offers a wealth of activities, restaurants, and entertainment opportunities.”

IMBC will utilize the same, familiar space in the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center that was used at the conference in January 2013 to make navigation for participants easy. The LEED-certified convention center is just across the street from IMBC’s host hotel, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina.
