New York Sea Grant, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), New York State Assemblyman Sean Ryan, and the Southtowns Walleye Association of WNY are hosting the 2013 New York Sea Grant State of Lake Erie meeting Thursday, April 11 from 7pm to 9pm at the Southtowns Walleye Association Club House, 5895 Southwestern Boulevard, in Hamburg, NY.
The featured presentations will address:
The Status of the Warm Water Fish Community
with NYSDEC Lake Erie Unit Leader Don Einhouse
The Status of the Cold Water Fish Community
with NYSDEC Senior Fishery Biologist Jim Markham
The New Western New York PRISM: Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management
with Dr. Christopher Pennuto of Buffalo State College, and
A US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Program Update
with USFWS Fishery Biologist Denise L. Clay.
