Carefree Boat Club receives customer service award, hires dockmaster

CORNELIUS, N.C. (May 6, 2013) – Carefree Boat Club of Lake Norman received the 2012 Membership Excellence Award at the recent national conference of Carefree Boat Club owners. The local club won the award based on positive member feedback, member retention, market impact, and community involvement.
Lake Norman Carefree Boat Club owner, Marc Graveline, said regarding the award, “There is no award more important to us than the one indicating we are providing excellent service to our members!”
To maintain the Club’s high standard of service, Graveline recently hired Paul Sheehan as dockmaster. Sheehan, 28, comes with 12 years of experience as a USA Waterski Certified professional water ski instructor and managing a boat rental operation on Lake Lure. Sheehan also has extensive sailing experience, having owned a 28’ sailboat on Lake Norman and taught sailing at the St. Thomas, BVI, Yacht Club.
“Paul’s skill and experience in the boating industry coupled with his energy, sense of humor and commitment to customer service will further our efforts to provide fantastic boating experiences for our member’s as we continue to grow our membership and fleet”, said Graveline.
