MAY 22, 2013 – Washington, N.C. – Baja Marine, parent company of the Baja, Donzi, Fountain and Pro-Line boat brands, is pleased to announce it has signed two new dealer partners for Pro-Line Boats. Avalon Marine Center in Avalon, N.J., and Long Island Boat Center in West Babylon, N.Y., now offer the full line of high-quality, high-value Pro-Line fishing boats from 20 to 32 feet.

New boat dealership Long Island Boat Center was opened by J.J. Sirel and Harold Baldauf earlier this year to serve boaters on the Great South Bay and Long Island Sound. In addition to Pro-Line, the dealership represents Baja and Mercury Marine. Boating industry veterans Sirel and Baldauf also operate the well-known JJ’s Marine Service shop in West Babylon, which was established in 1996.

“I’ve known the Pro-Line brand since I was 16 years old. It’s a great family fishboat,” said Sirel. “It gives you both comfort and fishability.”

Avalon Marine Center is a full-service facility serving boaters on the New Jersey shore. Fortunately, the property escaped major damage from last fall’s Hurricane Sandy, and remains 100-percent open for business. Owned by Phil Risko, Avalon Marine Center incorporates a 106-slip marina, indoor rack and outdoor storage facility, new boat dealership, marine service yard and ship’s store. In addition to Pro-Line, it also represents Avalon Pontoon Boats.

“Pro-Line is the boat where you get fit and finish for a really good price, and that’s hard to find today. It offers quality and value,” said Avalon Marine Center Director of Sales Bob Ransom. “There was a Pro-Line dealer in this location going back some years ago, when the marina was under prior management. We already are getting parts and service calls from former Pro-Line customers. We look forward to a strong relationship with local Pro-Line owners, past, present and future.”

“Avalon Marine Center and Long Island Boat Center have the passion, commitment, and superior customer service we need to help Pro-Line maintain its heritage as the leader in family fishing boats in the Tri-state area, which has always been a strong market for us, ” said Baja Marine Vice President Nick Miller. “We are delighted to welcome them to the Pro-Line family.”
