Did he get that by laying off the entire staff at his Va Beach office? It’s a shame they only highlight these things. He just recently let all the people from that office in VA go, they are the ones who helped the boating industry for years. Total shame he is being celebrated.

If I’m not mistaken, the people from the office in Virginia Beach office were the old Channel Blade crew. They were the best and helped many dealers in my 20 group and dealers all around the country. When Channel Blade got bought out, things changed and the product and service fell off big time. I used to call and I knew who was on the phone, and they would get things taken care of quickly. The new team didn’t know the boating industry or the Channel Blade products, so I canceled as soon as my contract expired. I didn’t know ARI before they took over Channel Blade, and it appears ARI didn’t know the boating industry so I’m not surprised that this award is in the powersports industry. Has Roy ever spoken at MDCE? If ARI’s goal was to kill Channel Blade then congratulations, mission accomplished. Didn’t they just buy 50 Below? They better watch out too!
