Boating Industry launches 2013 MDCE Best Ideas Program
MINNEAPOLIS – The annual Marine Dealer Conference & Expo succeeds because of the information, ideas, strategies and best practices it shares with the hundreds of dealers that attend each year. As part of that mission, Boating Industry gathers and distributes the ideas that led dealers to success in the prior year. We call it the Best Ideas Program, and now in its fifth year, it has become a cornerstone of the MDCE.
This year, we are once again looking for the Best Ideas in the dealer community, and thanks to the support of Boat Trader, we are going to reward the dealership that submits the 2013 Best Idea with a brand new iPad.
Here’s how it works: Dealers submit the idea or ideas that helped them find the most success in 2012 or 2013. A panel of judges will evaluate each idea against the many others that are submitted and will choose the companies that delivered the most outstanding ideas. Those Best Idea finalists will then be asked to present their ideas at the upcoming MDCE (Nov. 17-20 in Orlando), and the audience will vote for the Best Idea of the Year. Before the conference comes to a close, Boat Trader will present the dealership employee who submitted the winning Best Idea with a new iPad.
All of the Best Ideas submitted for the 2013 program will be published in an e-white paper produced by Boating Industry and distributed for free throughout the industry, thanks to the generosity of Boat Trader.
