Four Winns Horizon 290
The latest addition to the Four Winns brand is the all-new Horizon 290 bowrider. The 29-foot
luxury sport boat comes packed with features and amenities, providing a full day of on-water cruising with maximum comfort. The oversized bow area features the Four Winns exclusive chaise lounge- style seating with adjustable headrests and integrated arm rests. Step into the cockpit through the custom-designed curved windshield and enjoy the roominess created through the unique high chine architecture; a signature on all Horizon models. A few steps below and you find a changing room and single berth, starboard – the perfect location for a quick-change when docked at the local restaurant. Beautiful wood finishes and a large side window that fills the area with natural light provide the elegance your neighbors will envy. A portside head with molded-in sink and storage underneath provides all the necessary amenities needed for the family. The aft area of the new Horizon 290 delivers on comfort and convenience, featuring a Four Winns exclusive one-touch automatic sun lounge, along with low-profile swim platform. Of course, this latest addition to the Horizon family comes standard with the Four Winns signature Stable Vee® hull design for the ultimate ride. Power options for the Horizon 290 are available in single engine and twin engine configurations.
The expansion of jet boats was recently announced, along with the company’s new Scarab brand, to include the new GT187 for Glastron. The Rotax-powered jet boat, the first of a series of models to roll out in 2014, promises to bring a whole new level of boating fun to the Glastron line. The new boat features a modified hull design delivering an exhilarating ride that only a jet can provide. The interior is redesigned at the stern to add more seating space and a low profile swim platform. Power options range from 150-250 hp. The Glastron brand has undergone a tremendous redesign effort bringing new and innovative features to this iconic line of boats. The 2014 model year also adds the all-new GT245, the largest bow rider model for the brand.
The recent introduction of the Scarab jet boat line has proven very successful for the company. The brand is exciting and promises to be a strong competitor in the runabout category.
With three models to choose from for the 19-foot platform, the company has strategically built a series of boats that will appeal to a broad audience of enthusiasts. The standard model is a runabout with rich interior appointments designed to attract the new jet buyer. The Scarab HO provides a higher horsepower engine from the standard model and delivers on the well-known Scarab performance heritage with ease. And, for the real performance-minded Scarab die-hard, the Impulse tugs at the inner youth of every boating enthusiast. Exciting graphics and exclusive design elements unmatched in the category provide the Scarab Impulse the ability to capture attention anywhere. The proven Rotax power provides first class performance with horsepower ranging from 200-250 hp.
Several new models on display at the show reveal an all-new interior design for the brand. Solid carbon fiber white interior with black or red accents and contrasting channel stitching deliver a fresh, clean look to the boat – matching carbon fiber gauges and switch panels add the aggressive look every fishing enthusiast desires when showing off his machine. The company plans to continue with the new interior strategy across all models throughout the 2014 model year.
“We are extremely proud to be showing so much new product at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show,” stated Roch Lambert, Group President at Rec Boat Holdings. “We have set aggressive goals for this show and with the best dealers in this market representing our brands, I’m confident we’ll achieve positive results,” Lambert concluded.
