CDI Electronics offers electrical ignition training to marine service professionals

HUNTSVILLE, AL, December 18, 2013 — For the twelfth year in a row, CDI Electronics will offer it’s popular 4 day, 40 hour Electrical Ignition Service School. The classes will take place during the first three weeks of February, 2014 at the CDI Electronics headquarters located at 353 James Record Road SW, Huntsville, AL 35824. CDI Electronics has expanded this year’s class offering to three weeks due to the high demand for training courses available to marine service professionals.

“Marine technicians from all over the world have attended this class. Whether you’re just getting started as a technician or you have been doing this for 40 years, we believe you will walk away with knowledge that will help you in your profession” said David McGowan, Technical Support Specialist and CDI Electronics Electrical Ignition Service School Instructor.

The class covers everything from the basic understanding of ignition systems to understanding how to diagnose computer controlled engines. Each day consists of class room time as well as “hands-on” time in CDI Electronics’ engine room. Attendees will have the opportunity to work on various engine power heads, debugging and trouble shooting using tips and techniques discussed in the program. The last day of training deals with how to troubleshoot and diagnose computer controlled engines.

“This was by far, the best clinic I have ever attended…40 hours of great, well laid out ignition training. You will definitely get your money’s worth” said Mathew Miscurarca, BoatWorks, GA.
