Cequent trains NMDA members at S.T.E.P. event

PLYMOUTH, Mich.  –  Cequent Performance Products recently conducted three days of training seminars at the 16th S.T.E.P. (Sales-Training-Education-Purchasing) Training Conference. The S.T.E.P. event was held for NMDA (National Marine Distributors Association) members at the Maritime Institute in Linthicum Heights, MD from January 20-23.

Tom Romero and Richard Sidman of CPP educated attendees on the Fulton and Wesbar lines of marine jacks, couplers, winches and lighting products. In attendance were 143 sales and purchasing staff members representing 14 various marine distributors from across North America.

“We were glad to be able to participate in this training and education event,” says Romero, director of training. “The NMDA S.T.E.P. event provided us with an excellent venue and opportunity to educate so many of these marine distributor salespersons on our latest Fulton and Wesbar marine products in just three days. Trainings such as these allow marine distributor staff members to obtain education and manufacturers and suppliers to provide information in one location.”
