Correct Craft hosts Manufacturing Council Committee Meeting and regional CEO roundtable

ORLANDO, Fla. —  This week Correct Craft, owner of Nautique Boat Company and Aktion Parks, hosted a meeting of the Manufacturing Council Innovation Committee at its Orlando headquarters. The company also hosted a CEO Roundtable which allowed regional business executives to share their perspectives with the committee.

The Manufacturing Council, on which Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin serves, is a group of business leaders who advise US Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker. Secretary Pritzker has requested that the Council give her specific recommendations that can be implemented immediately to support US manufacturers.

The Council members and Department of Commerce officials meeting this week at Correct Craft were focused on recommendations related to promoting US innovation. The Council members and Department of Commerce representatives also met with manufacturing executives from throughout Central Florida to share ideas at a CEO Roundtable hosted by Correct Craft and arranged by the Manufacturers Association of Central Florida. The ideas generated at these meetings will be included in a recommendation letter regarding innovation that will be presented later this year to Secretary Pritzker.

Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin stated, “I appreciate the opportunity to serve on the Manufacturing Council and our team was honored to host these important meetings. The ideas we discussed will no doubt have a positive impact on the US economy for many years.”  “We appreciate the work being done by the Department of Commerce to support US businesses as well as the desire and commitment of Secretary Pritzker to use her time in Washington D.C. to have a positive impact,” Yeargin added.
