Correct Craft CEO represents boating industry at White House

ORLANDO, Fla. — This week Correct Craft CEO, Bill Yeargin, represented the boating industry at a meeting of thirty business leaders in Washington DC, at the White House. The business leaders met with White House staff as well as US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss what the Administration is and should be doing to support US businesses and specifically US manufacturing. The meeting lasted over four hours and included presentations from several members of the Obama Administration. Topics of the meeting included updates and discussion of general economic conditions as well as the current status of US manufacturing. The group also discussed ways to promote innovation, private-public partnerships, workforce development and other matters that are or should be Obama Administration priorities.

“It was great to be invited back to the White House, this time to discuss ways industry and the Obama Administration can work together to support US businesses,” stated Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin. “We were able to candidly discuss important issues in a very constructive manner; I appreciate being invited to participate,” Yeargin added.

  1. Great to see that our industry was represented in this important meeting. I couldn’t think of a finer representative for the recreational boating industry than Bill Yeargin. Correct Craft not only effectively navigates the domestic market but excels with international sales too and, therefore, brings a global perspective to the table.
