The Marine Industry Growth Summit established, as one of its six primary initiatives to drive growth in the marine industry, a boater education-focused task force.

This group set out to develop education-based initiatives to help draw in and educate more people on the rewards of the boating lifestyle. Today, the group is seeking information from boat dealers on their involvement and endorsement of boater education.

If you could please take just two minutes to answer the following short questionnaire, you would help us better understand how boater education plays a part in bringing new participants into the marine industry. Your responses would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

As a former boating officer and boat/yacht broker dealer I believe many would’ve new boaters are intimidated by their lack of knowledge and confidence out of purchasing a boat.
