Industry veteran Colloton starts consulting firm Shipwright Technical Services LLC

IVORYTON, Conn. – Shipwright Technical Services LLC  was formed by Andy Colloton, a 30-year Marine Industry veteran, to fill a growing market need for Technical Sales Services, Coatings Consulting, and Business Development Consulting Services for the US Marine Markets.

Colloton has a diverse background having grown up working in boatyards, refitting, and building boats before focusing on the fields of Yacht Rigging and then Performance Coatings , where he won the 2008 Kellogg Sales Rep of the Year Award out of 700+ vendors as their Awlgrip Representative.  His attention to detail in technically demanding situations and excellent relationship skills will assure Shipwright Technical Services customers can focus on their core passion of manufacturing while STS delivers a successful market formula.

Petersen Stainless Rigging, LTD. of the UK has signed on as a client for STS services.  Shipwright Technical Services will be acting on behalf of Petersen Stainless as they expend their presence as a Rod Rigging and Wire Rigging supplier in the US Market.  Petersen will leverage Colloton’s extensive experience in the Service, OEM, and Superyacht Leisure Marine Markets.  Petersen manufactures high-quality stainless steel products to Aerospace quality standard (AS9100:C; ISO9001:2008) that allow for full materials traceability in the field.  Petersen’s products also cross-over into the Architectural, Safety, Industrial, and Heavy-Marine Markets as the demand for High-Quality Stainless Steel grows worldwide.

“Andy has the unique combination of technical skills, market know-how and excellent customer relations to fit the Petersen philosophy of good customer support through good technical back-up.” says Kevin Bell, CEO of Petersen Stainless.
