Eleven spins off photo and video production company
Minneapolis, Minnesota (June 16, 2014) – Marine recreation marketing company Take it to Eleven has announced the launch of a spin-off production company, Strait Productions. The new company, led by Eleven co-founder Mike Menne, will specialize in on-water photo and video production for the marine industry.
“I’m looking forward to a new venture,” says Menne. “There are few things I love more than being on the water, and I’m excited to be able to focus on providing high-quality production services for the products, brands and companies that I have worked with through Eleven.”
Menne has 14 years of experience working with boat companies such as Premier Marine, Alumacraft and Larson Boats. He and partner Troy Brandt co-founded Eleven in 2007 to offer one-stop-shop marketing, branding and promotional services to the marine industry.
“Mike brought his insider knowledge as a marketing coordinator for a marine-industry OEM,” Brandt says. “His skill at managing all the details, combined with my 20 years of creative experience, has been a winning combination. We’ve done great work together, and now I’m looking forward to partnering with Strait Productions for quality photo and video for our clients.”
Strait Productions will utilize a 27-foot-long by 10-foot-wide pontoon for shooting video and photography on the lake. The custom-made boat has a 4-foot-by-10-foot shooting tower 6-1/2 feet above the pontoon deck and twin 300-horsepower Evinrude E-TEC outboard motors.
