Gracelock Industries Completes Acquisition of Unified Marine

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. — Gracelock Industries, a privately-held multinational consumer goods business with operations involved in manufacturing, distributing and retailing, is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of the leading marine accessories manufacturer SeaSense® by Unified Marine, Inc. headquartered in Bonita Springs, Florida. With this acquisition, Gracelock Industries strengthens its brand leadership position in the marine industry alongside their investment in Lorenz and Jones, a leading distributor of marine and powersports accessories.

Under the terms of the acquisition, the company will continue to operate as a stand-alone entity with complete management autonomy. David Nirenberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Unified Marine retired as CEO in June 2014. Doug Morichika has assumed the role of General Manager of Unified Marine. Ingram Pope has also stayed on as the head of sales. Nirenberg was the founder of the company and had been acting CEO since inception. Morichika has more than 35 years of distribution and manufacturing experience in the marine market.
