Dometic Group completes acquisition of Atwood Mobile Products
STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Dometic Group, a global leader of leisure products for the recreational vehicle (RV), marine, truck and automotive-based industries, today announced that the acquisition of Elkhart, Indiana-based Atwood Mobile Products, LLC has received clearance from US anti-trust authorities, and the transaction has been completed. Still pending is the completion of Dometic’s acquisition of Atwood’s Australian business, which is subject to an Australian regulator’s review.
Atwood Mobile Products is a global provider in designing, engineering and manufacturing appliances and hardware for the RV, On-/Off-Highway and Marine industries for over 50 years. Thus, Dometic’s acquisition of Atwood complements and further diversifies Dometic’s existing product offerings and strengthens the company’s global footprint.
Dometic Group’s global revenue, on a rolling 12 months after the acquisition, will amount to approximately $1.4 billion and the number of employees will increase to over 7,000.
