Scarab introduces 25-foot jet boat

CADILLAC, Mich. – Rec Boat Holdings has introduced what it says is the industry’s largest jet boat yet with the Scarab 255.

The Scarab jet boat line up now ranges from 16-feet to 25- feet, the broadest range in the category.

The Rotax Jet Propulsion System powers the Scarab 255, with twin 150, twin 200 and twin 250 horsepower options to fly past the competition. Like every Scarab in its four-boat lineup, Rotax jet power is an advantage for a quicker hole shot, best maneuverability and lower bow rise, giving every rider a worry-free day on the water.

The Scarab 255 offers a spacious walkthrough to easily get from the sun deck to the cockpit. A spacious head is tucked away, but is easy to access so the party on board can rage on. With the capacity to carry up to 13 passengers in style, the Scarab 255 will provide the perfect platform for all-day, on-water activity; and, with the available Platinum Trim Package that takes luxury to a new level.

“Now, with the addition of the Scarab 255, we’ve got four boldly designed models that live up to the Scarab name,” stated Roch Lambert, President, Rec Boat Holdings. “The Scarab 255 handles like a true performance jet boat, but you’re cruising with a dozen other people who are all feeling that same thrill on the water.”

Built for the thrill-seeking family, the Scarab 255 H.O. Impulse and 255 H.O (available as Twin 200/Twin 250 HP options) and 255 Base (Twin 150 HP) models are available at authorized Scarab retailers worldwide. The new Scarab 255 adds to the full line up of jets – Scarab 165, Scarab 195 and twin powered Scarab 215.

The new Scarab 255 will make a limited debut at the Houston Boat Show, Toronto International Boat Show and New York National Boat Show. The new model will also be available to see at additional shows beginning in late January and early February. 1. They meant to say “largest non Yamaha jet boat” boat! I’m sure they meant no insult to you or Hinckley, they should have stated they meant manufacturers with a multi national distribution network.
