Marine Marketers of America extends Neptune Awards deadline one week

MIAMI – Marine Marketers of America (MMA) has announced an extension of the Neptune Awards entry deadline. Originally set for Jan. 9, 2015, the new deadline is one week later on Jan. 16. The awards, which recognize outstanding work in the marketing field, will be presented at the Miami International Boat Show in February.

Sally Helme, Awards Committee Co-Chair, stated, “We have tremendous interest in the 2015 Neptune Awards and several people have asked for extensions because they are slammed with work after the holidays. We want to give as many companies as possible the opportunity to showcase their great marketing efforts from last year so we’re offering a one-week extension.”

“The 2015 Neptune Awards promise to be our biggest and best ever with more categories, the Miami awards venue and for the first time, an award for marketing diversity initiatives,” she added.

Marine marketers can submit entries for 13 Neptune award categories: national magazine ads, national magazine ads in a series, Web advertising (banner ads), product literature, newsletters, email promotion/blasts, regional/local marketing, video, mobile apps, social media campaign, marketing innovation, special event/sales promotion and diversity marketing initiatives.

The extended deadline for submissions is Jan. 16, 2015. Complete Neptune Awards program details, including entry guidelines and the official entry form, are posted on the association’s website: www.marinemarketersofamerica.org. The competition is open to any company or organization producing and publishing marine industry marketing work in calendar year 2014.
