Fairline unveils three new models at Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show

MIAMI — The 2015 Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show will see Fairline Boats unveil three exciting new models to the US boating public. Fairline will reveal detailed plans for two highly anticipated new 53ft models at the show – and debut its fastest model yet, the Shadow Sport (S).

Offering customers the design flexibility demanded by a global audience, Fairline’s new Targa 53 GRAN TURISMO and Squadron 53 models will be built on a common hull, following on from the success of Fairline’s recently launched 48ft models. The new models follow the same strategy and benefit from the same state-of-the-art technologies and industry-leading production systems as the groundbreaking 48ft range.

Both 53ft models incorporate new styling cues, whilst also upholding Fairline’s best design traditions. Customers are able to choose the configuration that best suits their individual use of the boat, with the Targa 53GT and Squadron 53 available in both the standard ‘C’ cockpit seating, or the ‘J’ configuration that owners of Fairline’s Targa 48GT will be familiar with.

Fairline has chosen a shaft driven configuration for the new models to maximise the aft space available for optional configurations such as a crew cabin or gyroscopic stabilisation. Customers will also be able to choose the alternative of fin stabilisation to ensure the highest levels of comfort, allowing owners and guests to relax in style onboard.

The Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show will also see Fairline launch its fastest model yet to the US boating public. The new Shadow Sport (S) left the UK immediately after the London Boat Show, where it made its highly anticipated world debut earlier this month, and is now on its way to Miami by cargo ship.

Perfectly suited for the Miami boating scene, the Shadow S is based on the Targa 38’s new 2015 specification and packed with unique styling features befitting its sports ethos. Throughout the boat’s exterior, special edition design touches contrast burnt orange upholstery, orange lighting, and an orange version of the iconic Fairline shield with carbon, graphite and titanium, including graphite hardtop and navigation equipment and a titanium coloured deck. Powered by Volvo D6 400 engines, the Shadow S is capable of reaching the fastest speeds of any Fairline to date.

Stuart McCullough, Commercial Director at Fairline Boats, commented: “Fairline enjoyed a strong year in the US market in 2014 and we anticipate building on this in the year ahead. We are looking forward to revealing the full plans for our new 53ft models, which extend our common platform approach, offering the flexibility and opportunities for customisation that are at the heart of Fairline’s new design philosophy. Similarly, the progressive styling of the Shadow S has helped us push the boundaries of people’s expectations of Fairline. There was a real buzz around all three models when they were unveiled to the world in London earlier this month.”
