IBEX 2015 releases more details on schedule, events

The 25th International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) celebrates over two decades of marine innovation, technology, and excellence.

IBEX, the largest trade event for boat building, design and maintenance, will offer valuable networking events as well as educational opportunities. This industry event will convene at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky., from Tuesday, Sept. 15 through Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015.  Pre-conference Super Sessions will be held on Monday, Sept. 14.

The conference, co-owned by Professional BoatBuilder magazine and National Marine Manufacturers Association, delivers a trade event where the marine industry can do business, share ideas, and accelerate new product development.

Tuesday, September 15, 2015        10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Wednesday, September 16, 2015   10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Thursday, September 17, 2015       10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Highlights include:

  • Nearly 6,000 boatbuilders, boatyard/marina operators, designers, surveyors, retailers, dealers, and many more industry professionals will attend.
  • The IBEX Seminar Series offers world-renowned technical education from fundamental skills to cutting-edge advanced training and is designed for shop floor crew, seasoned technicians, and company officers.
  • Over 500 manufacturers and suppliers will introduce, promote, and showcase new products and technology on the expansive show floor.
  • Special events include the IBEX Innovation Awards, Industry Breakfast, Opening Night Reception, Bourbon & Brew Happy Hour and Feature Areas including the Connected Boat, 3D Workshop, Future Materials Display, IBEX Fleet and much more.
  • Specialty Pavilions will be the Composites Pavilion, Electronics Pavilion, and Compliance and Standards Pavilion.
