Ranger Boats announces partnership with BoatU.S.

In partnership with the Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatU.S.), any new fiberglass Ranger boat purchased through an authorized dealer during the 2016 model year will include a complimentary one-year membership with BoatU.S., complete with around-the-clock support and multiple ways to save on items like fuel, insurance, travel and more.

Since its founding in 1966, BoatU.S. has worked to provide quality service, savings and representation to the recreational boating community. Boasting more than half a million members, BoatU.S. is the nation’s most powerful advocate for advancing the interests of boaters everywhere.

As BoatU.S. members, new Ranger owners will have access to the nation’s largest on-the-water boat towing service with over 600 towboats standing by to assist at over 300 locations across the country. New owners will also benefit from 25 other BoatU.S. services including discounts at more than 1,000 business and marinas as well as a subscription to BoatU.S. Magazine.

“We strive to exceed our customers’ expectations before, during and after the sale,” said Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper. “The BoatU.S. membership is one more tool to ensure the absolute best ownership experience. We’re proud of our partnership and excited to offer so many new benefits to Ranger buyers.”

As part of the package, Ranger owners will also receive unlimited BoatU.S. trailer assistance in addition to the standard membership. This around-the-clock service provides roadside towing assistance for both the boat trailer and tow vehicle up to 100 miles to a repair facility of the member’s choice. Other benefits include no-cost labor for flat tire delivery, fuel delivery, lock out assistance or jump start service.

“Over half a million boaters across the country can attest to the value and confidence that comes with a BoatU.S. membership,” said BoatU.S. Vice President of Towing Services Adam Wheeler. “It’s a privilege to work with Ranger on this new program and we look forward to helping their owners get the most out of their time on the water.”

Added BoatU.S. Program Coordinator Dustin King: “This is a great partnership for all involved. And it’s further proof of our dedication to inland boaters and fishermen. We look forward to growing this relationship for years to come.”
