GetMyBoat announces “Sleep Aboard” option

Peer-to-peer rental company GetMyBoat has launched a new option to its services: “Sleep Aboard” for overnight stays on a boat.

Sleep Aboard is a “boat-and-breakfast” experience where travelers stay overnight on the boat while it is docked.

“Sleep Aboard is an opportunity for people worldwide to experience boating without ever leaving the dock,” said GetMyBoat CIO Bryan Petro.

In the two weeks since the option was launched, nearly 1,000 boats have been added, the company said. GetMyBoat has 35,000 boats listed in 143 countries.

“We are committed to growing boating worldwide at GetMyBoat. Sleep Aboard is yet another way to reach new boaters and ensure the growth of an activity everybody should have the opportunity to experience,” Petro said. “We’re happy to introduce the feature and excited to see its impact on how the world goes boating.”
