Action Craft Boats aims at expanded production, dealer network

In an effort to match production with demand, Action Craft Boats has partnered with Tampa-based Suncoast Credit Union to secure a US Small Business Administration (SBA) loan. SBA is a federal program designed to strengthen the nation’s economy by providing support to small businesses.

“We’re ramping-up production to facilitate expanding our dealership network outside of Florida,” said Chad Kovarik, Action Craft Boats’ president. “The SBA loan provides us the ability to invest in manufacturing innovation to build a superior boat, and better balance supply and demand.”

Action Craft Boats was purchased in 2012 by CK Prime Investments, Inc. and has seen significant growth under its new ownership and management.

“From 2013 through 2014, we grew revenue 71%,” noted Kovarik. “And for 2014 to 2015, I anticipate another additional 30%.”

This productivity played an important factor in qualifying for the SBA loan, the company said.

Action Craft Boats is actively seeking dealers for its bay and flats boats in the Gulf Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions, and internationally. To learn more about this opportunity, contact actioncraft32@yahoo.com or call 239-574-7800.
