Island Marine Fuel named ValvTect Marina of the Year

California-based Island Marine Fuel was named ValvTect Marina of the Year at a ceremony at the International Marina & Boatyard Conference.

The marina, located on Balboa Island, was chosen for its outstanding customer service, community service, environmental stewardship and extensive marketing efforts, said ValvTect Petroleum Products president Jerry Nessenson.

Island Marine Fuel, a third-generation business, also runs the annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, the largest in the world.
