Myths of Ethanol Webinar

Topics addressed included consumer confusion, a technical review of the issues and things dealers can do. David Parker, a leading marine industry consultant, shared tools dealers can use to properly assess how well they’re handling their inventory.

Representatives from GE Capital were on hand to discuss controlling inventory costs and answer dealer questions. Finally,

Kevin Roggenbuck, president of Lake Union Sea Ray, shared the system his dealership has developed to help them manage inventory.


Social Media/Reputation Management Webinar

Michael Sos, product manager at AutoRevenue, taught dealers what they can do to avoid damage to their brands online. AutoRevenue provides tools and strategies for auto dealerships to manage their online reputations and shared their expertise with the marine industry exclusively in this Webinar.

Liz Walz, editor-in-chief of Boating Industry, and Mike Davin, Boating Industry‘s online editor, shared an exclusive survey on social networking in the marine industry. Walz will also discussed her article “The New Word of Mouth,” which won this year’s Boating Writers International Grand Prize, and gave an overview of what dealers need to know about social networking.

Lauren Woodard-Splatt, general manager of Woodard Marine, provided a dealer case study, discussing her dealership’s successes with social networking and answering questions about how they handle sites like Facebook.


How to Drive Traffic on a Minimal Budget Webinar

David Main, Head of Search for Dominion Marine Media, discussed how providing robust, unique, value-added content on your website or in a blog and embedding relevant links to your sales pages can help drive more traffic, leads and sales.

Kyle Kelly, operational manager at Kelly’s Port in Osage Beach, Mo., discussed his company’s newly launched video strategy – which has made the dealership more visible online and generated a steady steam of quality leads.

Kevin Zoodsma, head of online marketing at Action Water Sports, talked about how his company’s online strategy has evolved from a single custom HTML proshop page to an array of tools for social networking and online marketing.
