Boatbound acquires Internet privacy company SafeShepherd
Peer-to-peer boat rental company Boatbound announced Friday it has acquired SafeShepherd, a company that helps consumers identify and remove personal information from the Internet.
SafeShepherd Founders Robert Leshner and Geoff Hayes will join Boatbound.
“Improvements around safety and trust on Boatbound will be a key driver of growth in the years to come and leveraging the technology behind Safe Shepherd will give boat owners peace-of-mind,” Boatbound Founder and CEO Aaron Hall said in a statement.
